 Es una plaza muy importante de Murcia. Tiene forma rectangular y es peatonal. Tiene dos alturas y más de 200 años y varias fuentes. Fue diseñada por Juan Belmonte.
It is a very important square in Murcia. It has a rectangular shape and it is pedestrian. It has two florrs, more than 200 years old and several water sources. It was designed by Juan Belmonte.

Hay tres esculturas: la bola del mundo, la del Cardenal Belluga y el homenaje al nazareno. Las esculturas están hechas por gente muy importante.

 There are three sculptures: the World Globe, Cardinal Beluga’s Sculpture and the Tribute to the Nazarene. The sculptures were made by very important people.

Tiene dos edificios importantes: el Ayuntamiento y el Palacio Episcopal. Antes estaba el palacio del príncipe musulmán, eran sus jardines. 
En el Ayuntamiento trabaja el alcalde.
 It has two important buildings: the Town Hall and the Episcopal Palace. Before it was the Palace of a Muslim Prince, they were his gardens. The Mayor works at City Hall.

Tiene muchos tipos de flores, palmeras y arbustos. Hay una cafetería donde la gente se sienta a descansar y a tomar un helado.  

 It has many types of flowers, Palm trees and bushes. There is a cafetería where people sit to rest and have an ice cream.

Antes había una muralla y puertas de madera y se llamaba Plaza del Arenal. Ha cambiado muchas veces de nombre.
Es una plaza preciosa y nos ha gustado mucho.
 There used to be a wall with wooden doors and it was called “Plaza del Arenal”. It has changed its name many times.

Es una plaza precisos que nos gusta mucho.
 It is a beautiful square and we like it very much.

Hace muchos años había un palacio y un convento con monjas. Pero lo tiraron y ahora han puesto otro jardín más bonito y un arco para recordar el palacio.
 Many years ago there was a Palace and a convent with nuns. But they demolished it and now they have built one more beautiful garden ando a bow to remind the Palace.

Hay una estatua muy grande de un ángel que significa una victoria de la gente importante de Murcia.
 There is a very large statue of an angel which means a victory for the important people in Murcia.

Hemos aprendido que en la plaza de Santa Isabel hace muchos años nació Francisco Salzillo que era un escultor de Murcia que tiene muchas esculturas muy bonitas y un belén.
 We have learned that Francisco Salzillo, which was a sculptor of Murcia, which has many beautiful sculptures and a Bethlehem, many years ago he was born in Saint Isabel square.

 La plaza de Santa Isabel tiene muchas flores, un parque y es muy bonito. Allí podemos jugar y está al lado de La Gran Vía.

Esta es la plaza del Romea.Este es un palacio que se llama Vinader,

 Esta es una estatua de un músico que se llama Fernández Caballero, y tiene muchos instrumentos musicales. Y arriba hay una señora que era su musa.
  This is a statue of a musician called Fernández Caballero and it has many musical instruments. And upstairs there is a lady who was his muse.

 Este es el teatro Romea. En las ventanas tiene estátuas. Hemos ido a ver una obra de teatro y es muy bonito y de color rojo. Una leyenda dice que hay un fantasma que vive allí desde que se quemó el teatro. Que se ha quemado 2 veces.
  This is the Romea Theatre. It has statues in its windows. We have gone to see a play and it's very nice and red. A legend says that there is a ghost that lives there since the theatre was burned. It has burned 2 times.

 Este es otro palacio que hay en la plaza que se llama González Campuzano. Ha estado la Consejería de Turismo, pero ahora ya no.
 This is another Palace that is in the Gonzalez Campuzano square. The regional Ministry of Tourism has been there, but now it is no longer.
